Peter Blitz som Anderssonskans Kalle 1950

Peter Blitz as Anderssonskan's Kalle in 1950

Peter Blitz, born August 15, 1938 in Solna, Sweden, is a Swedish former child actor whose short but memorable career marked the Swedish film scene during the early 1950s. Although his time in the spotlight was short-lived, he left his mark on several classic Swedish films.
Blitz began his acting career as a child and made his debut in the film "Anderssonskans Kalle" (1950), a popular Swedish comedy based on Emil Norlander's stories about a mischievous boy from Södermalm. The same year, he appeared in "Den vita katten", a thriller directed by Hasse Ekman, where he demonstrated his ability to portray young characters with authenticity. The following year, in 1951, he played in "Örnarnas dal", an adventure film with an international touch where he shared the stage with well-known actors. His last known film role was in "Swing it, fröken" (1956), a musical comedy that marked the end of his acting career. As a child actor, Peter Blitz was characterized by a natural presence and charm that made him suitable for roles that required both liveliness and sensitivity. After 1956, he withdrew from the film world, and there is little information about his life after this. According to information from the Swedish Film Database, he emigrated from Sweden, but details about his later life are scarce.
Andersson's Kalle 1950

Photographer KG Kristoffersson was involved in the filming of the film Anderssonskans Kalle in 1950.
It happened in Stockholm and the beach at Rålambshovsparken on a winter day at the turn of February/March 1950.
Peter Blitz plays the role of Andersson's Kalle, who has fallen into the icy water and is helped out of the water by Arne Källerud, who plays police constable Jonsson.
Rut Holm, who played the role of Pihlgrenskan, is equally affected. She and the other aunties in Kalle's neighborhood often got into trouble with the boys. In their opinion, "he should be locked up in a prison"...

The film was based on Emil Norlander's youth novel of the same name, published in 1901.

Unfortunately I can't find where the pictures were published but I'll find that.
The film had its Swedish premiere on November 21 at the Falan cinema in Falun.
I have paired images and the original publication
The pictures were published in the magazine Filmjournalen 14-15 1950 and it is just one of many photo reports signed by Kristoffersson.
