Remembering Svante Grundberg.
Born November 9, 1943. Program host who, with Björn Wallde, created television history with the television program "Nattsudd". Women's orchestras were particularly interesting.
They spent the program time sitting "at home" drinking, smoking, talking and showing excerpts from old films, often dance and song sequences from the United States.
Svante is seen at an editing table where he does a rough edit, selecting and cutting film sequences from one VHS tape recorder to another. On the screens is Ina Ray Hutton, an American orchestra leader for one of the first all-female orchestras.
Svante Grundberg died in 2019, aged 75. The photos were taken by Åke Cyrus.
