Trio who were born on today's date!
Nils Hallberg - Sylva Åkesson and Inger Juel.
For modern people, names that don't say much, but for those interested and those with good memories, they say a lot. I think it's fun to highlight those who were big and popular back then. It always makes a splash and I often get such good comments and memories told that add and tell more.
If I start with Nils Hallberg , he was born on September 18, 1921. I have some favorite films with him and there is plenty to choose from. He was one of Swedish film's most prolific film actors with 105 roles on the "white screen", (an expression the department almost never uses these days...)
So skilled and talented with an ability to play the most sinister of villains to the funniest so well.

Sylva Åkesson next. She was born on September 18, 1916. She appears in many of Kristoffersson's pictures taken at the Scalateatern in Stockholm. She must have been a bundle of energy and a favorite on stage. It's a shame that revues from the past are not preserved as films, it would have been fun to see. She played against many of the most popular; Åke Söderblom, Lasse Krantz, Git Gay, Anita Lindblom. The picture was taken at the Scalateatern in 1954 when she was participating in the revue Scala in Gala. Her husband Nils Perne was responsible for the script together with his friend Sven Paddock. Two legends who put together many performances together.

Inger Juel last. Born September 18, 1926. She probably got a lot of her genes from her mother, the singer Karin Juel. Inger Juel recorded several gramophone records during her career and I think I have a 78-turn record player with her, I have to look it up. She appeared both in film and on stage. A doll. In Kristoffersson's picture taken in 1947 at a transistor radio. (Speaking of rarely used words...) As pretty as the one with beautiful dark hair typical of the time that is perfectly arranged in every strand. I like these pictures that contain something more that really clearly indicates the time period during which the picture was taken. Radio used to be like the internet is now. That was all there was. When the news was broadcast, the right channel had to be tuned in and listened to. Fascinating how it was then. Now everything is digital.

Please share my post, I will be happy.
(Speaking of the big screen, I now remember something my dad told me when he went to the cinema in Stockholm when he was little. He sometimes watched films, but not from a seat on the floor. He got to watch the film from behind, that is, sitting behind "The Big Screen". Maybe it was a nice janitor who let him do it or it was much cheaper. It must have been unusual because I haven't heard of it being organized on any larger scale.)
