John Elfström as Åsa-Nisse and Artur Rolén as Klabbarparn laugh during the filming of the very first film about Åsa-Nisse and was directed by Ragnar Frisk who is seen in a white hat on the far right. It had its Swedish premiere on October 22, 1949 at the Saga cinema in Vetlanda.
