Poster with a picture of Stockholm's coolest guy on two wheels – 1951

Here he stands, a true motorcycle enthusiast in the middle of Stockholm in 1951, ready to conquer the streets! With his leather jacket, his cap confidently tilted, wearing American jeans and an attitude that oozes freedom, he is part of the burgeoning motorcycle culture that characterized the 50s.
It was a time when bikes weren't just transportation - they were a lifestyle, a statement, and for many young guys a way to break free from the drab routines of everyday life. The gang would gather for coffee, talk horsepower, and plan rides, while motorcycle clubs began to pop up and create a community for those who loved life on two wheels.

His faithful companion is an NV11, a proud creation of Nymans Verkstäder in Uppsala, which produced motorcycles with both style and reliability. The NV11, with its classic design, has a sturdy frame, a single-cylinder engine and a license plate that reads "N12122". Built to handle both the cobblestones of the city and the dust of the country road, with its clean lines and practical details, it was a favorite among motorcycle enthusiasts of the time.
Behind him, you can see Stockholm's gray stone facades and a Hillman Minx parked by the sidewalk, but it's the bike that steals the show. You can almost hear that lovely engine sound as he accelerates away.
In 1951, motorcycle culture was about to blossom, and this guy, with his NV11, helped set the tone for a new era of freedom on the roads!

Our premium quality, heavier, white, matte paper has a natural, smooth, uncoated finish that feels luxurious to the touch.
