Hasse Ekman. 1915-2004. Swedish actor and director. Here during the filming of his film Knack of Hearts.
The film's plot takes place in one section in Paris. Instead of filming in the French capital, Hasse Ekman preferred to stay in Stockholm.
With the help of architects Bibbi Lindström and PA Lundgren, he had a piece of Paris conjured up in the Old Town of Stockholm.
Parts of the house facades around the Burnt Plot were re-clad and a typical Parisian sidewalk café was built.
The film premiered at the Stockholm cinema Astoria on September 18, 1950.
The picture was published in Filmjournalen no. 37 in 1950.
