She and the mechanic signal with the classic thumbs up sign. A photo report by Anders Svahn at Studio Kristoffersson published in the magazine Se no. 20 1950. History of this particular aircraft: SE-ARM Type: Auster J/1 Autocrat c/n: 2044 Manufactured in 1944.

When a pilot gives a thumbs up, it usually means that everything is okay or under control. It is a universal gesture to signal that the situation is good, that the equipment is working properly, or that they are ready for the next step, such as takeoff or landing. The gesture is often used in communication with ground personnel or other pilots to confirm that everything is ready.

Our premium quality, heavier, white, matte paper has a natural, smooth, uncoated finish that feels luxurious to the touch.
