From the hidden depths of the image archive to publication
When I look through the magazines and where my pictures are published, I am impressed by how well-written the texts are for the pictures. You can find out everything from when the ice cream Puckstång was launched to the details about Ingrid of Denmark. There is of course a lot of research behind the texts and I am happy that my pictures are used so extensively in the weekly magazines.
The magazine Släkthistoria tells about the naturalist and balance artist Jan Lindblad . The magazine Land revels in nostalgic ice cream facts . Popular history uses one of photographer Kristoffersson's fine photos of the Swedish Lottakåren. It celebrates its 100th anniversary this year.
Svenska Öden & Äventyr and Birgitta Ohlsson have chosen a nice picture of Ingrid of Denmark with her newborn daughter Margrethe. In the crossword puzzles that Egmont and Bulls do, I find the pictures from the archive that have now been given new life as clever crossword illustrations; Kjell Bergqvist in Charley's aunt and Carl-Henrik Norin's orchestra. An incredibly cool picture of the orchestra, jumping high in the air with their instruments in their hands.
It has always fascinated me that an image can lie in the image archive unpublished for a very long time and then suddenly gain new life. Many times the image is seen again for the first time since it was taken.

Many of my customers write or contact me about images they are looking for. This is because we have not had time to scan all the archive images and put them online in the image archive. There is a chance that we can help with the motifs needed. It costs nothing to ask and the selection will be much larger if we get a chance to update the selection. The image archive, which contains millions of images, provides great opportunities for customers to find unique and unusual motifs.

News in the online store
I've also been on vacation and off this summer, so I'm starting to work on adding more images like posters and canvas prints again.
Like this picture taken in 1919 in Dalarna by Gerda Söderlund. A family with their various animals walking along a road with fences on the sides. The cows are led by hand, the goat is allowed to walk on its own. The women and men are dressed in traditional clothing and headgear. The man leads the horse, which is loaded with two baskets of palm leaves. A small boy sits on the horse.
An absolutely fantastic motif and time document that is over 100 years old. And a very nice and sharp original too. I think many will fall in love with it and put it on the wall at home. Here is the picture in the online store
Decorating with beautiful photographs is of course not just for private individuals. Everything from hotels, restaurants and other businesses want to have unique images on their walls.
The image of the family in Dalarna in 1919 is of course also available for purchase for commercial or editorial use. Here is the link to the image in the image archive.
