ABBA. The Swedish pop group formed in Stockholm in 1972 by Agnetha Fältskog, Björn Ulvaeus, Benny Andersson, and Anni-Frid Lyngstad. They are one of the most popular and successful musical groups of all time, and are one of the best-selling music acts in the history of popular music.

By 1976, Abba was one of the world's most popular music groups , with songs such as "Fernando", "Knowing Me, Knowing You", "Money, Money, Money" and "Dancing Queen". The latter became the group's third consecutive number one on the British UK Singles Chart where it topped the chart for six consecutive weeks in September-October 1976. The song also managed to climb to number one on the Billboard chart in the US in the spring of 1977.
