Dalarna 1919. A family with their various animals walks along a gravel road with a fence on the sides. The cows are led forward by hand, the goat is allowed to walk on its own. The women and men are dressed in traditional clothing and headgear. The man leads the horse, which is loaded with two baskets of palm leaves. A small boy sits on the horse. The picture was taken by Gerda Söderlund Leksand in 1919.
