Gummans washing powder. A product manufactured by the Gothenburg company Aktiebolaget Eneroth & Co in the early 1900s. A clear package that, in addition to the name, is also illustrated with an old woman washing clothes in a tub. Gummans washing powder was one of the first detergents in powder form, so it was probably a big news at the time. On the back of the package are detailed instructions on how to use the detergent. One package is enough for about 200 liters of water. You could wash wool, silk and silk but in lukewarm water, 20-25 degrees. Colored fabrics are washed separately. Free from chlorine and corrosive substances is written, but there was no Nordic Ecolabel like today's detergents...

A charming 100-year-old packaging.
