Poster with a picture of the archipelago boat S/S Saxaren 1964.

In May 1964, the S/S Saxaren capsized and sank at Stor-Kråns jetty in western Saxarfjärden. The ship was assessed as a wreck and deemed unprofitable to salvage by the insurance company. It was subsequently sold to two enthusiastic students, Staffan Lindhé and Hans Johansson, for 1,200 kronor. After salvage and repair, the ship was put back into service in 1966. In 1973, it was purchased by Strömma's shipping company (Strömma Kanalbolaget) and regained its original name, S/S Gustafsberg VII. The ship was further renovated and transferred in 1974 to Rederi AB Diana, where it continued its operations in Stockholm waters.

Today, S/S Gustafsberg VII is mainly used for private events and functions, such as parties, weddings, dinners and social gatherings, and can accommodate 60–200 passengers. The ship operates in the Stockholm archipelago and Lake Mälaren, departing from Strandvägen and Nybrokajen in Stockholm, and offers guided tours of Gustavsberg as well as stops at Artipelag, an art gallery in the archipelago.

Our premium quality, heavier, white, matte paper has a natural, smooth, uncoated finish that feels luxurious to the touch.
