Poster with a picture of how to cut wood, using a car.

In this fantastic picture from the 1920s, we see three men taking on the classic task of cutting wood – but with an ingenious and innovative solution.

Instead of sweating over a traditional handsaw, they have connected their car to the wood splitter, where the rear wheel acts as the drive source.

This type of mechanical ingenuity was not uncommon during that time, when people often used available technology in unexpected ways.

With the car as a motor, the saw blade can spin efficiently and quickly, making the work both smoother and more enjoyable – probably an impressive sight for the neighbors!

One of the men is cutting wood, while another stands and watches. The third man is standing by a wheelbarrow loaded with wood.

This creative solution says a lot about the ingenuity of the 1920s. When electricity and machinery were not yet widespread everywhere, people had to improvise. The car, which was still a relatively new phenomenon at the time, had already begun to show its versatility. It is a picture of practical problem solving, cooperation and a dose of everyday ingenuity, which shows that a car could be much more than just a means of transportation.

Our premium quality, heavier, white, matte paper has a natural, smooth, uncoated finish that feels luxurious to the touch.
