Newsletter? Yes, why not?
I have been working on telling stories with pictures for a very long time. It turns out that the time investment pays off. Many people are interested in the story behind the picture. Most of the time I present pictures that have not been previously published or even made it this far. They may have been untouched in the picture archive since the day they were taken.

Keep track of the flow of images?
Yes, it's not such a stupid idea. Just as I put things in my memory and pull them out when I need them most, you too may need to see the images that flow into the image archive. Precisely because you never know what the next project will be. It may be a TV documentary, book or magazine where you need images and thanks to my newsletter, remember that the images you need are there.
Unique and valuable.
When you make a product that is ultimately judged by sales that are measured, or a rating by readers or viewers, you need more than Wikipedia images. You need something unique and rarely seen that adds value. Images that the reader or viewer experiences as special and surprising, ones they haven't seen before. Asking me for images for your project can be the start. It costs nothing.
