Gösta Ekman as Sickan in Jönssonligan appears again (1986)
Gösta Ekman (1939–2017) shines as Charles-Ingvar "Sickan" Jönsson in Jönssonligan skuper upp gjen , the third film in the cult Swedish comedy series about the Jönssonligan. Sickan is the charismatic, but often overambitious, leader of a trio of petty crooks that includes Ragnar Vanheden (Ulf Brunnberg) and Dynamit-Harry (Björn Gustafson). In this film, directed by Mikael Ekman, Sickan plans a coup to steal a valuable computer chip from a high-tech company, but as usual, the plan goes off the rails in a series of comical mishaps. Ekman portrays Sickan with a perfect blend of sly charm, self-confidence and vulnerability, making the character the hub of the series. His physical comedy, sharp lines and ability to alternate between genius and frustration elevate the film and cement Sickan as one of Sweden's most beloved film characters.
