Husqvarna motorcycle model 283 , often referred to as the Guldpilen, was a stronger variant of the Silverpilen. The cylinder capacity was 200 cc with an output of 10.5 hp. The Guldpilen was manufactured between 1957-1959 in just over 1200 copies. The motorcycle had a curb weight of under 75 kg, therefore it was classified as a light motorcycle and could be driven by 16-year-olds. Top speed over 100 km/h. In 1959, the purchase price for the Guldpilen was 2240 SEK.
