Meg, who is only 17 years old, makes her film debut in Göran Gentele's film "Leva på hoppet".
In the film script, she is described in the role of the heroine Vivi as "A long-legged, painful girl with intense eyes behind her glasses. She has a more funny and frank appearance than outright beautiful. She speaks quickly and has a thousand whims and ideas, all stemming from her naive, bold and self-evident imagination."
The picture and the story of her film debut were published in the magazine Filmjournalen no. 17 in 1950. Here they mention the fact that her mother's name was Inga Tidblad and her father Håkan Westergren. Both were very popular actors at the time.
