A Stockholm boy holds a model airplane in one hand and pretends to fly. The model is made by the German company Wiking Modellbau in Berlin, which manufactured airplane models in a scale of 1:200. The airplane models that were manufactured from 1939 onwards were made of gray-green resin with blue-painted windshields, and were very detailed. Models were also manufactured during World War II, including Swedish airplanes. Nowadays, the airplane models are sought-after collector's items. It is April 22, 1940, and World War II is raging in Europe.
