A young woman with a Rolleiflex camera on her stomach outdoors on a winter day. This medium format camera, manufactured by the German company Rollei for 60 mm roll film, became extremely popular among professional photographers.
The technique of photographing with the camera was special. Instead of aiming at the subject by looking through the lens from behind, the subject was viewed from above (you can see the cover opened). The subject was shown in mirror image.
Film was used and one roll was enough to take 12 pictures. The film was then developed and paper copies were made from the negatives.
The year is 1944 and photographer Kristoffersson has managed to capture the charming girl in the moment before she presses the shutter.
