Striptease. A form of entertainment with ancient origins. In Swedish revues during the 1940s and 1950s, what were called naked dancers often performed. Here, two young women on stage behind a screen depicting the women's changing room at a bathhouse, where the backlight gives the women sharp outlines for the audience to see. The picture was taken during a revue at the Folkan theater in Stockholm. Signed by the Danish revue king Stig Lommer in 1951.
