Karin Maria Elisabet Mathisen, known as Topsy Håkansson, born January 12, 1926 in Karlstad. Swedish dancer and actress. Here photographed backstage in a tasteful picture when she holds a cigarette holder in one hand and the smoke is seen rising and visible against the lamplight. The picture was taken by photographer Kristofferssons and published in the magazine Filmjournalen no. 50 1952 on page 7. H

She married the Norwegian bandmaster Jens Mathisen in 1953. They lived on Lidingö but moved to Norway in the early 1960s.
Topsy passed away on March 5, 2006, three years after her husband. She lived at Nesoddtangen, 6 km southwest of Oslo.
